Tate Modern is London’s free national museum of modern and contemporary art.
This is the first solo exhibition of Pablo Picasso’s work ever to be held at Tate Modern, in one of the most significant shows the gallery has ever staged. The exhibition will take visitors on a month-by-month journey through 1932 — a time so pivotal in Picasso’s life and work that it has been called his ‘year of wonders’.
Tate Modern, March 8th to September 9th 2018.
The birth of abstract art and the invention of photography were both defining moments in modern visual culture, but their stories are often told separately. Into the Light is the first major exhibition to explore the relationship between the two, spanning from the 1910s to the present day.
Tate Modern, May 2nd to October 14th 2018.
