Architectural wonders right on our doorstep

Architectural wonders

From historic markets and architecture steeped in tradition, to cutting edge modern art and trailblazing bars and restaurants, there’s a plethora of riches right on our doorstep. Designed by Christopher Wren, St Paul’s Cathedral is one of the most instantly recognisable buildings in London, and its famous dome has dominated the skyline for centuries. It has hosted royal weddings, orchestral performances and intellectual debates. The free-to-attend daily services are open to all, and offer a chance to hear the inspiring voices of the Cathedral choir and other talented musicians. Those visiting to sightsee can walk in the footsteps of royalty and political leaders, explore the Crypt or scale the Dome and enjoy unrivalled views across London. Similarly, Westminster Abbey is a royal church, one of England’s oldest examples of gothic architecture and World Heritage Site with over a thousand years of history.
