Guarantee Policy:
All reservations require a credit card to guarantee. No charge will be made at the point of reservation to the card unless used in conjunction with an advance purchase rate.

Arrival & Departure:

Check-in time from 14:00 hours
Check-out time by 12:00 hours

In order to avoid a one night cancellation charge a reservation must be cancelled by 2pm, London time, 24 hours prior to arrival, other Terms and Conditions may apply to promotional rates and require full non-refundable prepayment.

Child Policy:
We can provide cots and extra beds for children up to the age of 12 at no additional cost, in Deluxe rooms and above categories. Please note we can only install either a cot or an extra bed, not both.

Pet Policy:

There is nothing worse than having to leave your furry friend at home while you travel. At Vintry & Mercer, we welcome ‘well behaved’ dogs (& cats) to our hotel. They are allowed in all of our Deluxe Rooms, Deluxe Studios and Suites, as well as in Vintry Izakaya on the Ground floor and outside on Mercer Terrace if the weather permits. All pet-friendly rooms will come with a dog basket & bowl so that your dog can enjoy their stay as much as you.

Please note: We are unfortunately unable to accommodate dogs in other areas of the hotel. This includes at our bar, DND. Should you wish to make special arrangements, please talk to us.

Smoking Policy:
Smoking is permitted in a limited number of bedrooms. Please inform the hotel of your preference at the time of booking. Smoking is not permitted in any other area of the hotel in accordance with legislation that came into effect on 1st July 2007.

Sensitive Data

If you choose to give it to us, we may collect data that is considered to be sensitive such as data about your health or particular health requirements, your religious beliefs or other such sensitive data.

We do not generally require this information and we only collect it if you choose to give it to us and because you think that it will assist us in making your visit to us more comfortable or more personalised.  We only collect this information where you choose to give it to us on the basis of the provision of a particular service you have asked us to provide.


We also collect, use and share Aggregated Data on our website such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature. However, if we combine or connect Aggregated Data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this privacy notice.

If you fail to provide personal data
Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to book you a room or a dinner reservation). In this case, we may have to cancel the contract we have with you but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

How is your personal data collected?

You may give us your Identity, Contact, Financial, Profile, Passport, Correspondence and/or Special Categories of Personal Data in person, by filling in registration forms at Vintry & Mercer or by corresponding with us by post, phone, email or otherwise. Generally we do not otherwise rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your personal data other than in relation to sending direct marketing communications to you via email or text message. You have the right to withdraw consent to marketing at any time by contacting us.

Disclosures of your personal data

We may have to share your personal data with the parties set out below for the purposes set out in the table in paragraph 4 above.

Our sister company: Our sister company is FR Holdings and that company runs the Ampersand Hotel: and may act as joint controller or processor and with whom we share administrative services and other functions.

External Third Parties: Service providers acting as processors with servers based within the EEA who provide IT and system administration services, communication administration services, storage systems, event companies and health and safety monitoring programmes.

Prospective Third Parties: Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this privacy notice.

We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

International transfers

We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Data security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

How long will you use my personal data for?

No fee usually required

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.
